New Collaborative Research Centre on rewetted peatlands launched
27.11.2024 – WETSCAPES2.0: A new Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) has been launched under the joint leadership of the University of Greifswald and the University of Rostock. The German Research Foundation DFG is providing approximately €10 million in funding for an initial period of four years.
The CRC strengthens cutting-edge research in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania while also contributing to addressing global challenges such as climate change and nutrient loading. In addition, it promotes the transfer of scientific knowledge into society and practice.
